Prescription Wigs

There has been quite a bit of controversy about N.H.S. wigs over the years,so I would like to put the record straight regarding the particular N.H.S. Trusts that I personally deal with.

I have been an agent for prescription wigs for 25 years and times have changed dramatically regarding what the patient can now be supplied with. I am sure that all permanent wig wearers are aware of the exceptional changes & improvements to the wigs and hairpieces that are available today and this also applies to prescription wigs and hairpieces.

All the wigs that are displayed on the web site are available on the N.H.S. from our local hospitals which are: Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre NHS Trust - Blackpool, Lytham and Fleetwood, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - Preston and Chorley, East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust - Blackburn and Burnley .
We also offer a free alteration service, if a wig is too large we remove some rows of wefting to insure a secure fit .

I must emphasise that not all NHS Trusts offer the same services and selection.
